2009/2010 CALENDAR OF EVENTS & PROGRAMS

Lookout Pass Ski Area is open Thursday through Monday, plus all holidays from 9 am to 4 pm (PST). On Saturdays and Sundays we open at 8:30 am. The area operates 7 days a week during the Christmas vacation period starting December 19, 2009 through January 4, 2010. OPEN for BONUS WEDNESDAYS in January and February!

November 2009

Ski Area OPENS as soon as there is sufficient snow!

Nov. 07 Winter Swap at the North Idaho Fair Grounds. Great selection of gear at low prices! Get your season pass picture too.
Nov. 13 First Day Open!

December 2009

Dec. 05 Boomers' Fridays - $20 lift ticket every Friday for those 40 yrs and over (excluding 12/25 & 1/1).
Dec. 19 Lookout Race Team Starts Training 14 week program 9:30 am.
Dec. 19 Christmas Holiday Begins. Open every day thru Monday, Jan 4.
Dec. 21 Freeriders Camp. A 3-day training camp for ages 10 and over. Register at the Ski School desk or call 208-744-1301 x 15.
Dec. 24 Santa Claus arrives at ski area (noon).
Dec. 25 Christmas Day opening delayed until 10:00 am. Annual Christmas Buffet from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Ski with Santa!

January 2010

Jan. 1 Happy New Year! Good cheer and all-day football in the lounge (between runs of course!).
Jan. 4 Prime Timers Club meets every Monday. Club membership and info at www.skilookout.com
Jan. 7 "Downhill Divas" Women's ski or snowboard program. 9:30 to 2:30 every Thursday thru March 18. Ski with a Pro in a relaxed atmosphere. Demos, boot fitting tips, fun and lunch included.
Jan. 9 Lookout's famous FREE Ski School Program (ages 6 to 17). Every Saturday from Jan. 9 thru Mar. 13. Beginners: 10:00 am to 11:15 am. Intermediate & Advanced: 11:30 am to 12:45 pm. Ronald McDonald Day.
Jan. 17 Winter Carnival - Family Fun Day - Pacific Northwest National Wife Carrying Contest Fill out the registration form
Jan. 18 Open Monday for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Jan. 24 Media Team Races & Appreciation Day
